My name is Gunnar. I am a 25-year-old computer scientist, investor, and aspiring innovator who's passionate about leveraging technology in the world of finance.

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. As a child, I spent much of my time playing and loving sports (football, basketball, and fishing), which taught me teamwork, perseverance, and the importance of goal-setting. Alongside my love for sports, I've always had a keen interest in technology and mechanics, often taking apart my toys and gadgets to figure out how they worked and rebuild them in my own way.

In 2024, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Georgia with a 3.53 GPA. Towards the end of my studies at UGA, I developed a deep interest in finance through computational finance coursework and helping organize the International Conference on AI in Finance (ICAIF).

I am now pursuing a Master of Finance degree at Emory University's Goizueta Business School, graduating December 2026. Currently, I serve as Full-Stack Software Engineer & Product Manager at Toccoa Capital Management (part-time), leading development of AI-powered financial platforms serving $100M+ in assets. I also serve as Chief Operating Officer of Blue Eagle Capital Fund, where I built a production portfolio analytics dashboard for managing $800K+ in securities. I've worked as a Teaching Assistant for 6 courses and Webmaster for ICAIF, I supported 350+ students and managed 8 conference websites.

My ultimate goal is to build a career in Computational Finance, leveraging my technical skills for innovation & financial analysis.
